Description

First and foremost.... This is a deck that #1 Is currently only workable due to loopholes in the game's wording as of Oct 2024 #2 is not a deck you shall play against friends you want to keep.

Setup: Joi, Voss, Broker in. Doesn't matter if you go first or second, but second gives them 2 opportunities to misplay and give you a turn 3 win, so show Joi.

The goal is getting Mask of Endless Revelry on the bottom of Voss's stack. You grantee this if your opponent puts any stack down to 2 cards. If you can pull this off at any time, ignore the play order and do that instead, immediately.

The fail state is to let Mask go on a character that deactivates. Don't give them a response to the mask getting lost. If you play it, get it back same turn.

Turn 1 ------ Joi, baqs, use it, use memory fail for 0 damage just to crash the program out of Voss's stack.

Turn 2 ------ If you opponent played any patch, put Mask on that 2-program stack, swap Broker for Null Constructor, and put that mask on the bottom of Voss's stack. Congrats, you won the game. If all characters have 3 cards in their stack by turn 2, and you have a battery, use mask, end process, and swap broker for null constructor. If you do not have a batter, set up wall hacks on Voss and IY on Joi.

Turn 3 ------- If the opponent has refused to play ANY patch at all in the game by turn 3, your turn 3 is: target an opponent with only 3 programs in stack (mostly everybody), send mask of endless to them, end-process them, swap broker for null constructor, get mask on Voss for a turn 4 infinite.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

At this point, jsut hang out till you can get glitch pact on voss. If you have that, mask of endless will give another ram and give you the ability to return it to any friendly stack... you send it back to voss, over and over for infinite ram. If wall hacks got back in your stack, no biggie, you got the ram back to use it right away.

With infinite ram, memory failure can take down their hardest character to drop. Internal combustion and bit trail should be able to kill at least 1 other character on the board. Sonic flare will suspend the rest, so at best they can use a 3-ram response on the next turn, against an unstoppable killing zombie. If you still have a swap available (ie Null constructor activated on turn 2 instead of 3), you can also channel RAW for infinite, system analysis for 6 more, and Hanbei lets you bring in muramasa for another 7, so you could deal 27 damage + 2 infinite damage kills in one turn.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The only counters to this deck is to kill broker by your turn 2 their turn 3, or to forcibly cycle broker. If you think you opponent could kill broker without playing a single patch, you could use baqs and save it on turn 1, then mask and end process into null turn 2, slowing the setup for crashing memory fail and wall hacks on turn 3 and go infinite on 4. The only thing I could see that could threat broker so early would be baqs => 2 damage turn 1, turn 2 polar flip + Yevlette. If you don't see polar on top, don't worry.

If they are showing end process turn 1, and use it before you get a chance to respond... use you own end process on broker and mask is back on top. Just delays the combo by a turn.
